Event Booking

The event booking process allows you to reserve spots in events, manage group and family participation, and complete payment using various methods including subscriptions.

Booking Process Overview

The booking flow consists of: event selection → availability check → participant information → payment processing → confirmation. The system supports individual, group, family, and subscription-based bookings.

Standard Booking Process

  1. Select Event: Choose your desired event with date, time, and price plan
  2. Check Availability: Critical - Verify available spots for selected date/time before proceeding
  3. Enter Participant Details: Provide information for yourself and any additional attendees
  4. Process Payment: Select payment method and complete the transaction
  5. Receive Confirmation: Get booking confirmation with event details

Note: You can change date, time, or price plan on the booking page, but must recheck availability after any changes.

Subscription-Based Bookings

If you have an active, valid subscription that covers the event, the system automatically detects and applies it, reducing your payment to zero. Subscriptions must be non-expired and include the specific event you are booking. Some have usage limits or restrictions.

Group and Family Bookings

Anonymous Participants: Cannot share your subscription benefits. Each additional person pays the full individual price.

Family Members: Can benefit from shared subscriptions if all have the same subscription type, reducing total cost to zero. Mixed subscription status requires payment for members without valid subscriptions.

Subscription Purchases During Booking

Individual Subscriptions: Select subscription price plan, complete the purchase on the subscription page, then return automatically to apply it to your booking.

Group Subscriptions: Choose group subscription pricing, add members, and complete the purchase. The subscription owner can then directly book events for all group members using the shared benefits.

Payment Methods and Options

Payment Gateways: Credit/debit cards, Twint, and other digital wallets with secure, encrypted processing.

Physical Payment Methods: Cash or bank transfer options are available and require business confirmation after payment is received before your booking is finalized.

Business Credit: Automatically applied to reduce costs. View available credit and pay any remaining balance during checkout.

Coupons: Enter discount codes during payment. System validates and applies eligible discounts (some have usage limits or restrictions).

Error Scenarios and Solutions

No Available Places: Choose a different date/time, join the waitlist, or find alternative events.

Payment Failures: Try a different payment method, retry, or contact your bank if card is declined.

Subscription Issues: Renew expired subscriptions, upgrade for wrong types, or pay individual price if limits are reached.

Waitlist Management

When events are fully booked, click "Add to Waitlist" to receive automatic notifications if spots become available. Join multiple waitlists for different dates or events as needed.

Booking Confirmation and Management

After successful booking, you'll receive a confirmation email with your booking reference, event details, and host contact information. The system sends automated reminders and host updates before your event.

View your booking history, status, and payment records in your profile. Provide feedback after event completion.
