Search Bar and Filters
Overview
The search bar and filters appear at the top of most management pages to help you find and organize your data.
Search Input
Type keywords to find items by name, email, or other identifying information:
- Real-time Search - Results update as you type
- Quick Clear - Click the X button to clear your search
- Multi-Column Search - Searches across all relevant fields
Filters
Click the Filter dropdown to narrow results by:
- Status - Active, inactive, completed, pending, etc.
- Category - Event type, venue type, participant status, etc.
- Date Range - Filter by specific dates or time periods
- User/Owner - Filter by organizer, manager, or participant
- Custom Filters - Additional filters specific to each page
Combining Filters
Apply multiple filters together to find exactly what you need:
- Click Filter dropdown
- Select your criteria
- Filters work together (AND logic) to refine results
- Clear individual filters by clicking them again
Common Action Buttons
| Button | Purpose |

| ➕ Add | Create a new item (event, venue, participant, etc.) |
| 🗑️ Delete | Delete selected items (only enabled when items are selected) |
| ♻️ Recycle Bin | Recover recently deleted items |
| 📅 Calendar | Switch between table and calendar views (where available) |
Practical Tips
- Type keywords to search in real-time
- Combine filters for more precise results
- Use date ranges to find items from specific periods
- Bulk delete - Select multiple items and click delete
- Restore deleted items - Check the Recycle Bin for recently deleted items
Search Examples
Find a specific event:
- Type event name in search box
- Results filter instantly as you type
Find participants from last month:
- Click Filter
- Select Status filter (if needed)
- Select Date Range for last month
- Results show only matching participants
Find active venues in a city:
- Type city name in search box
- Click Filter and select Status = "Active"
- View filtered results
