Payment Methods
Overview
As an individual business, you can configure physical payment methods to accept payments from event participants. Online payment gateways are only available for company accounts.
Setting Up Payment Methods
All payment gateways are available by default in your account. You can activate and configure the ones you want to use.
Activate and Configure a Payment Gateway
- Go to Payment Gateways
- Select the payment method you want to use
- Click Edit
- Enter required credentials or information
- Toggle on to activate
- Save your settings
Deactivate a Payment Gateway
- Select the payment gateway
- Toggle off to deactivate
- Confirm the action
Available Payment Methods
Individual businesses can only use physical/manual payment methods:
- Cash - Collect payment in person
- Bank Transfer - Accept direct bank deposits
Note: Online payment gateways (Credit Card, PayPal, Stripe, Twint, Skrill) are only available for company accounts.
Configuration
Bank Transfer Setup
- Select Bank Transfer from the payment gateways list
- Click Edit
- Enter your bank account details:
- Bank name
- Account holder name
- Account number
- Routing/IBAN number
- Any special instructions for participants
- Toggle on to activate
- Save your settings
- Mark payments as completed manually when received
Cash
Cash payment method can be activated without additional configuration:
- Select Cash from the payment methods list
- Toggle on to activate
- Save your settings
This method requires you to collect payments in person.
Tips
- Activate at least one payment method before creating events
- Configure bank transfer details carefully to avoid payment delays
- Deactivate unused payment methods to avoid confusion
- You can activate multiple payment methods to give participants more options
- For cash payments, arrange collection details with participants in advance
- Keep track of manual payments and mark them as completed in the system
Important Notes
- All payment methods are pre-installed and ready to configure
- Individual businesses can only use physical/manual payment methods
- Online payment gateways (Credit Card, PayPal, Stripe, Twint, Skrill) require a company account
- You cannot add custom payment gateways or delete existing ones
- Keep your bank account details secure
- You are responsible for collecting and verifying manual payments
- Mark payments as completed manually in the system once received
- Contact support if you need help configuring payment methods or upgrading to a company account
