Events Management
Overview
The Events Management page allows you to create, view, manage, and delete your events. You can view events in a table or calendar format, making it easy to organize and visualize your event schedule.
Getting Started
Creating an Event
- Click "Add Event" button (top right)
- Fill in the event details across multiple tabs
- Click Save to create the event
Viewing Events
- Table View (default): See all your events in an organized table
- Calendar View: Visualize events on a calendar with booking information
Toggle between views using the view icon in the top toolbar.
Event Details
Event Types
Events can be one of three types:
One-time Events
- Occurs once on a specific date and time
- Examples: conferences, concerts, workshops
Recurring Events
- Repeats on a schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.)
- Examples: weekly classes, monthly meetups
Camps/Internships
- Multi-day or multi-week events with defined start and end dates
- Examples: summer camps, training programs, boot camps
Event Information Tab
When creating or editing an event, fill in:
- Event Name - The title of your event
- Description - Details about what the event is
- Category - Select a category for your event
- Images - Add a main image and optional additional images
- Event Type - Choose one-time, recurring, or camp
- Hosting Type - Local (in-person at a venue) or Online
Event Status
Events can be in different states:
- Public - Visible to all users and available for booking
- Private - Hidden or not active events
- Cancelled - No longer available for bookings
Booking Settings
When creating an event, configure:
- Client Must Book - Require the user booking to also include themselves as a participant
- Booking Expiration - Set how far in advance users must book before the event starts
- Auto Booking - Allow users with subscriptions to book multiple successive sessions of the event
Managing Events
Search Events
Use the search bar at the top to find events by name or keywords. Results update as you type.
Filter & Sort
- Sort by clicking column headers (created date is sortable)
- Filter events using available filter options
View Event Details
Click the View icon (eye icon) in the Actions column to see full event details, edit the event, or manage participants.
Bulk Operations
Select multiple events using checkboxes to delete them at once. Events with active bookings cannot be deleted.
Delete Single Event
Click the View icon and select Delete. Events can only be deleted if no active bookings exist.
Table Columns

Calendar View
The calendar displays:
- Events - Your scheduled events
- Bookings - Customer reservations with user names
- Schedule Items - Individual sessions or activities within events
You can navigate months and filter using the search bar. The calendar is view-only; to edit events, use the table view or click View to access the event details.
Recycle Bin
If you delete an event, you can recover it from the Recycle Bin (accessible from the page toolbar). Deleted events remain recoverable for a period of time before permanent deletion.
Event Pricing
Set up pricing for your events by:
- Creating price plans with different pricing tiers
- Setting capacity limits per tier
- Defining booking windows
- Offering subscription-based pricing options
Event Location & Venue
For local (in-person) events:
- Select the hosting type as "Local"
- Choose a venue from your venues list
- Select which rooms the event will use
- The venue address is displayed to participants
For online events, select "Online" and provide a meeting link or details.
Speakers & Participants
After creating an event:
- Go to Speakers to add speakers
- Go to Participants to view who has booked
- Go to Bookings to manage booking requests
Tips
- Always add an event image for better visibility
- Set clear descriptions so users know what to expect
- Use categories to help users find your events
- Set appropriate booking windows for your event type
- Keep event names clear and descriptive
