Room Renting Requests

Overview

The Room Renting Requests page shows customers requesting to rent your rooms. Review, approve, or deny rental requests here.

Viewing Requests

All room renting requests appear in a table showing:

  • Customer - Who wants to rent
  • Room - Which room they want
  • Dates - When they want to rent
  • Duration - How long they want it
  • Status - Pending, approved, cancelled, paid
  • Request Date - When they requested
  • Actions - Approve or deny

Request Status

Approving a Request

Automatic Approval

If you set rooms to auto-approve:

  • Request approves instantly
  • No action needed
  • Customer reserves immediately
  • Appears in Reservations

Manual Approval

If you set rooms to manual approval:

  1. Click View on the request
  2. Review request details:
    • Customer information
    • Rental dates and times
    • Duration needed
    • Special requests or notes
  3. Click Approve or Deny
  4. Add any message to customer
  5. Click Confirm

Denying a Request

When you deny a request:

  1. Click Deny button
  2. Click Confirm
  3. Customer receives notification
  4. They can request different dates

Search & Filter

  • Search - Find requests by customer name or room
  • Filter by Room - Show requests for specific room

Request Details

When reviewing a request, you see:

  • Customer Info - Name, email, phone
  • Room Details - Which room, capacity
  • Dates & Times - Exact times needed
  • Pricing - What it will cost

Confirmation

After you approve:

  • Customer receives confirmation email
  • They can pay and complete reservation
  • Rental details will appear in the same section
  • They receive access details

Managing High Volume

Quick Approval

  • Auto-approve to reduce manual work
  • Good for standard requests

Custom Terms and User Information

  • Request specific information
  • Ask about intended use
